In Search of The Perfect Christmas

Help - I am suffering from the seasonal blues.  Every time Christmas arrives and I can't bare it - So this year I head out on a journey to get a new perspective , and hopefully, appreciation of Christmas.  First stop, New York City, center of the commercial christmas.  My least favorite thing about the holiday is commercialism, but hoping to offset this with the rich cultural activity of the big apple.  Broadway musical, Warhol at the MOMA, and maybe a Poetry Slam at the Bowery.  If this doesn't zap the blues, on to Ottawa to spend Christmas Eve in subzero temperatures and watch the faces of my "adopted" nephews as they still innocently enjoy the idea of Christmas - and lots of toys......Final stop, Montreal, the place that has my heart, and the only place I have ever enjoyed my childhood christmas's - God Bless my French Canadian family.
